This is taken down by the Mississippi River at sunset. The low colors of contrast given at sunset with that low side light gives this appeal to the eye.
This is another photo taken on the cruise ship. This was taken also in early morning. With the sun coming up in the east, we create a high side light. The sun at this angle gives such blue water, I contrasted this against the white railings.
This photo was taken of the water in Lake Winona. This part of the water seemed so pure and clear. Using the light effectively we get the leaf and water to pop out at us more.
This is a photo taken at Lake Winona around midday. Capturing the sun as is and letting the light of the sun fill the frame we get a natural fill light.
This is a picture taken on a cruise ship. Showing this hook against the sunlight, this shows a strong backlight. Making the hook darker than normal and giving emphasis on the background.
This is photo taken coming into the Bahamas. This was taken early in the morning to capture these tones of the blues. The haze that the sun created gave a low key lighting. Bringing along this camera i was able to capture the sharpness and feeling of the ocean meeting land.
This photo was taken on a cruise ship that i went on last week in the Bahamas. This is showing a high key light early in the morning after sunrise. The teal on the ship pops out at you. There is also a good showing of leading lines here.
